As a senior software engineer at Clearnomics, you’ll play a key role in bringing new platforms, features and capabilities to life. With your experience and leadership, you’ll contribute to the growth of the engineering team and provide mentorship to junior engineers. You’ll also work closely with our product management, client success, and market research teams on a daily basis and work with the latest technologies.
What you’ll work on:
- Analyze requirements and work with the team to develop scalable and reliable software
- Evaluate new technologies and provide input on architecture decisions
- Ensure code quality and reinforce best practices via code reviews
- Lead design sessions and provide mentorship to junior engineers
- Develop and maintain processes for testing and deploying our code
- Collaborate with product managers and lead the engineering team during sprints to push exciting features to production
We’re looking for candidates who are:
- Passionate about building great fintech software, from design to implementation
- Have 5-7 years experience as a professional software engineer
- Have strong experience with modern front-end frameworks and back-end technologies
- Fluent in Python, Javascript/Typescript, SQL, and other standard languages
- Have experience with CI/CD tools and techniques
- Have great communication and collaboration skills, and have worked with cross-functional teams including product, design, and other non-technical peers
- 4-year degree in Computer Science or related field is strongly preferred
